Angel Flight Gives Hope

Since 1983, Angel Flight, a non-profit volunteer pilot organization, has flown people in need of lifesaving medical attention to a nearby state where they can receive appropriate care. When people cannot have their medical need filled in their local area, Angel Flight transports them from, to or through Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee and the Carolinas at no charge. Volunteer pilots and ground support through the “Earth Angel” program are needed. This year, a portion of the proceeds from The Chelko Foundation’s Bodies as a Work of Art event will go to Angel Flight.
