To have a successful workout, you need to have energy. Eating non-fuel food or not eating anything before you exercise will leave you feeling sluggish. You may even experience cramps during your workout.

Eating nutrient-dense foods is a great way to nourish you body and get in optimal shape for a workout. Meals and snacks such as avocado, Greek yogurt,protein smoothies, oatmeal, peanut butter, trail mix, berries, bananas, carrot sticks, grape tomatoes and grapes are excellent foods for fuel.
