If you are looking for a relaxed and enjoyable way to spend your weekend, then head over to the Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts. This Saturday and Sunday, Atlantans will have the opportunity to explore local artists’ work in this inaugural event.

Located near Peachtree Hills Park, the beautiful atmosphere will complement the exquisite art being displayed. Attendees will also enjoy artist demonstrations, hands-on activities and live entertainment.

The Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts hopes to give metro-Atlanta and Georgian artists a chance to share their artwork with the community. The festival will showcase the work of a variety of artists, including painters, photographers, sculptors, glassblowers and jewelers. The diverse types of art will undoubtedly appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds, so bring all of your friends and family members!

The festival will kick off on Saturday morning with a 5k “Commissioner’s Run.” If you would like to participate in the race, be sure to register beforehand.

After spending Saturday afternoon browsing the artists’ stands, stay for a free movie on the lawn, “E.T.: the Extraterrestrial,” at the nearby Peachtree Hills Recreation Center.

The Peachtree Hills Festival of the Arts will be open on Saturday from 10am-7pm and Sunday from 11am-6pm. It is located on Peachtree Hills Avenue.
