Last night I took a Zumba class with my daughter at the Concourse Athletic Club. She is 17 and I am 54. It was so much fun and quite possibly one of the best mother/daughter moments we have had in a while. Not only were we smiling from the exhilaration of moving to the music…we were laughing at ourselves and each other in a good way as we navigated the “moves” and shook our hips and booties in what appeared to unnatural ways…seriously it was a great workout and a lot of fun for people of all ages. If you love to dance or just move to the music, don’t miss Piedmont Hospital’s Day of Dance.
