Q: What is your favorite way to spend a day off?
A: My favorite way to spend a day off is helping my son, Brennan, become a Lego master!
Q: How do you make more time for yourself?
A: Planning ahead and staying organized allows me to find more time for myself.
Q: What was a must-see movie for you?
A: Definitely “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.” The book by J.R.R. Tolkien was one of my childhood favorites.
Q: What advice do you have for someone who wants to have more “me” time?
A: Don’t spread yourself too thin. Planning your schedule and sticking to it is key for time management.
Q: Who do you like to spend your free time with?
A: I like to spend my free time with my son, my other friends who are chefs and my dear friend Katie.
Q: What is the most fun you’ve had in the last six months?
A: I am also a chef consultant in Orlando. We received free passes to Sea World and had a blast.
Q: Who are the people that help you be your best self?
A: My mother is definitely my inspiration. She’s a teacher and a single mom. I also look up to past chefs that I’ve worked with like Gary Mennie (Canoe) and Gerry Klaskala (Aria).
