Day 14 of Healthy, Beautiful Skin – HydraFacial MD at Northside Plastic Surgery

By Best Self Staffer: Kim Cooper

Being a mom of two kids, I don’t get a lot of breaks or “me” time. So I’m sure you can imagine how thrilled I was when I heard I would be receiving a signature HydraFacial MD from Northside Plastic Surgery.

Cynthia Evans L.M.E. gave me an in-depth explanation of how the treatment works. This noninvasive, rejuvenating procedure is extremely effective for all skin types and it has long-lasting results.

The 30-minute HydraFacial consists of four steps; cleansing the skin of dead skin cells, using glycolic and salicylic acids to exfoliate and help with fine lines and wrinkles, extracting impurities, and lastly, delivering antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid to hydrate.

Honestly, this experience was better than most facials because it was completely painless and I could see immediate results with no downtime. My skin was clear and glowing and it was easy to see that the size of my pores were reduced. I loved the fact that I did not have any redness in my face and I did not have to worry about any harsh reactions from being out in the sun afterward.

Overall, it was a great experience that I would definitely try again the next time I get another second of “me” time or am preparing for an event.

Skin Love!

As with any skin care regimen, consistency is the key to overall good results. A consistent daily regimen of cleansing, moisturizing and protection against the sun is a must. Also, don’t forget to get your skin screened in support of good health and skin cancer awareness month.
