Day 27 of Healthy, Beautiful Skin – Mimosa Oxygen Facial at Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta

By Managing Editor: Laura J. Downey

Facials make me feel like a brand new person. And since I have never visited a Life Time Fitness in Georgia, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to have a spa treatment at the LifeSpa inside Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta. I signed up for a 60-minute Mimosa Oxygen Facial with Medical Esthetician, Angie Snow. I’m sure you’re wondering if this treatment starts or ends with a real mimosa (orange juice, champagne, triple sec). Well, it doesn’t but don’t let that damper your spirits. The facial includes a Vitamin C scrub and citrus spray, which gives it the “orange” from the mimosa that we’re looking for.

The facial at LifeSpa is designed to cleanse, hydrate, combat antiaging, tighten the skin, and rejuvenate. Who can say no to that? Angie started the treatment by massaging my face in circular motions with VivierSkin’s HEXAM cleanser, which worked to remove the dirt and oil on my face. From there, she exfoliated my face with VivierSkin’s Vitamin C Scrub. Next came the “oxygen” portion. Angie mixed Circadia’s Oxygen RX Powder and a gel blister pack together and applied the foamy substance to my face and neck. As she massaged my face gently, she also applied an enzyme activator, pH equalizer and a citrus spritzer to my face and neck.

Afterward, Angie put VivierSkin’s Ultra Hydrating Mask on my face. And then, the brand’s toner was applied in an effort to rebalance my skin. Additional products used included VivierSkin’s C E Peptides to fight against any signs of aging, VivierSkin’s HYDRAgel Advanced B5+ Complex to re-energize and give me a radiant look, a moisturizing cream, an eye cream, and sunscreen.

Other highlights included having a relaxing foot massage and getting the necessary evil of extractions over and done with. It hurts during the process but your skin will glow after those nasty blackheads are removed. What I loved about the service was that Angie was extremely personable and she kept me informed every step of the way. Once the facial was completed and I touched my face, it was so soft! And it also looked radiant. I could tell that the products used were high quality.

If you’ve been thinking about getting a facial, I recommend a trip to Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta. You don’t have to be a member of the club to experience a treatment at LifeSpa. As an added bonus, you can use their facility for free to workout when you sign up for a service. Don’t know what to do with the kids when it’s time for your treatment? No worries. Life Time offers two hours of complimentary day-care service as well. It’s seriously a one-stop- shop for beautifying your life on the inside and out.
