THURSDAY, APRIL 28
The 2nd Annual “Flames for Firemen” Patio Party
Shula’s 347 Grill officially opens its patio for the season with a cook-out event from 6 – 9 p.m. Join local firefighters, cyclists and members of the NYPD as they fire up the grill and cook up a delicious feast including $5 burgers and spring cocktail specials along with live music and raffle prizes. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Atlanta Fire Foundation and its Freedom Ride 2011.
The 35th Atlanta Film Festival
The Atlanta Film Festival kicks off this year on April 28 and will continue through May 7. Enjoy an exciting mix of international features, short films and documentary films as well as other special events throughout the week.
The 5th Annual 500 Songs for Kids
Head out to Smith’s Olde Bar tonight for A Countdown of the 500 Greatest Feel Good Songs of All Time! Come out to listen to songs for all ages – proceeds benefit the Songs for Kids Foundation. This event will span over 10 days from April 28 to May 7. Tickets are just $10-$20 in advance. Enjoy daily drink and dinner specials at Smith’s every night of the week.

Spring Wellness Weekend
Enjoy a day of relaxation, shopping and good eats from 11a.m. – 3p.m. at Pilates Powerhouse in Historic Roswell. Featured stores will include Amy’s Skincare Oasis, Plum Tree Yoga, Meditatin Mantis, Jack Be Nimble soaps and candles, Katherine Ann’s Jewelry Designs and more. Meet and Greet with Top Chef All-Star Richard Blais
FLIP burger boutique will host a meet and greet with Top Chef All-Stars winner and FLIP Chef Richard Blais. Mingle with the Top Chef at FLIP Midtown from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., and FLIP Buckhead from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. FLIP menu highlights will include Richard’s winning dishes from the Top Chef All-Stars finale. The 2nd Annual Peace, Love & Pure Fashion Show
Enjoy a fashion show, music from Laughing Pizza, von Grey and Shaniah Jones, shopping and more at the Buckhead Theatre for the Annual Peace, Love & Pure Fashion Show benefitting Bert’s Big Adventure. Pure Fashion models will be joined by 14 special models from Bert’s Big Adventure - all in the hottest spring trends and fashions by Carter’s Babies and Kids, OshKosh B’gosh and Belk. The fun begins from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
