If you would like to move, groove, eat and get a few health check-ups all at the same time, come to the Inaugural “What Moves You” Community Healthy Living Day Sunday, September 9 from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Sponsored by the Atlanta Ballet, the event will include health screenings and assessments, healthy living and nutrition seminars, dance classes for all ages and dance performances by some of Atlanta’s best, including Atlanta Ballet’s Center for Dance Education (CDE) Performance Ensembles.
Dance classes will include break dance, Salsa, African dance and more. Healthy living and nutrition seminars will cover such topics as healthy breakfast ideas, real-life nutrition for busy families, snacks for kids and more.
The event will be held at Atlanta Ballet’s Michael C. Carlos Dance Centre in Midtown, and is open to the public.
