Kam Throckmorton, from Glam Kam, shares her best advice on how to have a winning wardrobe.
How does a winning wardrobe contribute to women’s overall well-being?
When you look good, you feel good. There is nothing like the transformative power of a great outfit. I have seen women go from crying in the dressing room to strutting around the store, and the only thing that changed was her outfit.
What is your advice for women who want to have a winning wardrobe?
Know your body, accept it and embrace it. When shopping, be realistic: don’t buy four-inch heels if you can only walk comfortably in two-inch heels. Also, remember you will never love something more than you love it in the dressing room.
What do you love most about your own wardrobe?
I have built a wardrobe full of pieces that compliment my body shape and, more importantly, make me happy. Getting dressed is my favorite part of my day – I love to express my style and creativity with each outfit I wear.
