Candance Kimbrough-Green, MD, may have inherited her interest in becoming a doctor from her father (who was a family physician), but the choice to go into dermatology was all her own. One of the most enjoyable aspects of her specialty is the variety of work she is able to do. She notes that, on top of the fun aspect of her job, such as cosmetic treatments, she also has the opportunity to dive into the medical aspect of dermatology—a side she feels is often overlooked. Providing this type of care to the entire family, from infants to grandparents, particularly makes her job a delight each and every day.
