Get a taste of locally grown, organic food at the new Chastain Urban Farm in Chastain Park. The Chastain Park Conservancy and Southeastern Horticultural Society will break ground on the new Chastain Park community garden on Oct. 20 – and they are still looking for volunteers to come out and help.
On Oct. 22, the Southeastern Horticultural Society and Cibo E Beve will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit “Farm Chastain” at Chastain Park. The “Ridiculously Local Food and Wine” Fundraiser will be held at Cibo E Beve restaurant from 6 to 8 p.m. (4969 Roswell Road NE, Sandy Springs, GA).
The “Ridiculously Local Food and Wine” Fundraiser will be held only one mile away from the Chastain Urban Farm, so come take a peak at what it has to offer. Get a whiff of the organic herbs, let your mouth salivate at the veggies, honey hives and orchard.
