Stress: Have regular school conversations to ease your student’s comfort level. Know their teachers’ expectations and what’s on their daily agenda.
Routines: Establish solid routines for early morning, after school and bedtime. Encourage after-school outdoor playtime to release energy, and make it a rule not to have any screen-time until all homework is complete.
Nutrition: Kids who start their day with a nutritionally balanced breakfast have better overall school performance. Try make-ahead recipes that can be served easily in the morning rush.
