SweetWater Brewery is back at it again. The environmentally conscious company is hosting an End of Summer BBQ from 1 to 4 p.m. tomorrow (Aug. 13) at Canoe Restaurant (4199 Paces Ferry Road NW) right on the banks of the Chattahoochee.
The event is the conclusion of this year’s Save the Hooch campaign and proceeds will be donated to the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper effort. A check on behalf of SweetWater Brewery will also be presented to the group.
The $25 ticket includes freshly prepared food (which is coming from local farms), live music, a one-year membership and donation to UCR and, of course, SweetWater beer. Register online at Chattahoochee.org. Tickets will be $30 at the door.
Summer’s almost over, and this last bar-b-que will make it one to remember. Plus it’s for a good cause. What’s sweeter than that?
