If you’ve ever had a question about Asperger’s (a form of Autism, it’s a developmental disorder that affects a person’s ability to socialize and communicate effectively with others.) then come to The Asperger Spirit second scheduled talk on adult Asperger’s taking place Monday, March 12 at 6:30pm at the East Atlanta Public Library.
As part of its efforts to inform communities throughout Atlanta about Asperger’s, The Asperger Spirit will give this free presentation that will include general information about the diagnosis, a short film showcasing individuals with Asperger’s and a question and answer period.
The Asperger Spirit’s mission is to assist those with Asperger’s Disorder in reaching their God given potential, by enabling them to obtain comprehensive diagnostic tests, innovative treatment plans, individualized services and specialized support. The Asperger Spirit does this through fundraising, educational opportunities such as lectures, symposia, workshops and the provision of resources.
