The Power of Your Purchase

Buying from these businesses also means you are giving back to the community

BLASTBenefit Classes
While breaking a sweat at BLAST900 Buckhead during the month of June, you’ll also be supporting a non-profit! BLAST900 is partnering with a different charity each month. These classes are $20, with 50% of the proceeds going to further benefit the charity. – Check back for the next class in July.

For Babies, With Love
Cradle & Thread, an Atlanta-based baby apparel line launched by husband and wife team Jarrett  and Christina Helms,  is making sure that clean, comfy clothing is available to all children in need. Under its Giving Sewn In program, a box of clothes, or a ThreadBox, will be donated to an impoverished mother for every $100 dollars of merchandise sold. Each purchase compounds so every dollar counts and contributes to a ThreadBox.

Cobbie Cares
When Betty Hulse’s husband, Billy was treated and cared for at the Shepherd Center hospital for a spinal cord injury in 2009, Betty decided to show her gratitude in a unique way.  She made and bottled her mother-in-law’s special barbecue sauce, called Cobbie’s Sauce, and gave the bottles to the hospital staff. Today she continues to make the all-natural barbecue sauce using the 60-year-old family recipe and share the proceeds with the Shepherd Center. Cobbie’s Sauce is available at Whole Foods Markets for $8.95.
