September is Climbing Month at High Country Outfitters, and they want to get everyone hooked on heights this Thursday with the Reel Rock Film Tour at Lefont Theater in Sandy Springs.
The Reel Rock Film Tour features flicks put together by Sender Films and Big UP Productions to show some of the most mind-blowing, palm-sweating moments in climbing caught on tape. The films feature the extreme climbing stories from around the world, including a 9-year-old bouldering prodigy, climber Tommy Caldwell’s efforts on the hardest big-wall free climb, astounding ice-climbing action and more. All proceeds from the event will go to the Southeastern Climbers Coalition.
High Country Outfitters and Best Self Atlanta, along with other area businesses and associations, have banded together to make the Reel Rock Film Tour bigger and better than ever before. Beer and wine will be available, there will be a raffle drawing for great prizes and product vendors will be on site to answer questions and show off some great new gear. And save your ticket stub—it’ll get you discounts on new climbing gear at High Country Outfitters once you get whipped up by all the amazing footage!
WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 22, doors open at 6:30 p.m., show starts at 7:30 p.m.
WHERE: Lefont Theater in Sandy Springs, 5920 Roswell Road NE, Atlanta.
COST: Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door (please bring cash if you can).
