Do You Ever Wonder Why It Is So Hard To Lose Weight?

This is the question millions of people in our society ask themselves daily.  The answer is simple:  we think it is hard to lose weight.

Our society directs so much energy and resources at weight loss.  There is an entire industry devoted to it;  gyms, diet pills,  special diets, and equipment to name a few.  Naturally, the message the mind receives from all of this is that it is hard to lose weight.  Whether we realize it or not, we are being programmed subconsciously.  This is not to suggest some kind of conspiracy.  However, consider how many media messages we receive about weight loss and weight from radio and television alone.  We receive at least 5 to 7 messages per day regarding weight loss.  Multiply this number by 365 days and you have a mental program in every sense of the word.  Not to mention, talk among friends and family and even negative self-talk can have an impact on our subconscious.  Do you ever think or hear people say something like, "Every time I look at a piece of cake I gain 2 pounds?"  Constant statements of this nature can have negative effects on our subconscious mind.

The mind is a very powerful tool and it responds to our beliefs and acts accordingly.  This is why hypnotherapy is such an effective weight loss tool.  Hypnotherapy allows you to control the messages your mind receives about weight loss.

During your session your hypnotherapist will make positive suggestions to the subconscious mind about how easy it is to lose weight, which will allow your body to more easily lose the pounds. The hypnotherapist should also make suggestions to curb cravings for unhealthy foods, setting you up for weight loss success.
