This will cause sweat glands, as well as sebaceous glands, to shrink and close; visibly reducing pore size and acne. And since microinjections don’t target the muscles, you will not lose facial movement or look frozen. Instead, microinjections work underneath the surface of the skin to fill out lines and wrinkles.
To get ready for the treatment, I washed my face and a numbing cream was applied all over it. From there, Dr. Whitaker let the cream absorb into my skin for about 20 minutes. It was definitely numb after that. Samantha Shepard, R.N., and Dr. Whitaker were extremely thorough in explaining the entire procedure.
As for the suite that I was in, it was very clean and comfortable. Using a sterile canister, Dr. Whitaker administered the customized Babytox serum all over my face and neck. It created some redness in the skin at first, but overall, there was no pain and virtually no downtime.
The result left my face with a beautiful glow. My skin felt very hydrated. I could see and feel a big difference in my skin afterward—it felt healthy and vibrant. Dr. Whitaker said that the results would get better over the next several weeks. If you’re considering having Babytox, a series of treatments is ideal if it’s spaced about one month apart.
