Local Support for the Japan Earthquake & Pacific Tsunami

untitledYou can’t turn on the TV, read a website or open a newspaper these past few days without hearing about the devastation in Japan due to the 9.0-magnitude earthquake that occurred near the northeastern coast on March 11th.

At times like this, many people want to go beyond sending good wishes, love and prayers to those who are in need.   There are so many different ways to help, and many organizations have started different fund-raising efforts around the world. For news and relief effort information visit  http://www.jrc.or.jp/english/index.html.

Locally, many Atlanta businesses are doing their part to help as well.  Dine at Genki Noodles and Sushi in The Prado and Buckhead from March 21 – 28 and you will also be helping an important cause.  The restaurant will donate 5% of all sales to the American Red Cross for the Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief efforts plus all sale proceeds on $2 chopsticks will be donated to the Red Cross.
