Triathlons are no joke – all that running, biking and swimming are not for the faint of heart or the weak of body. download (2)On Sunday, September 28 in Atlanta, a new type of triathlon aims to challenge your mind as well. The Wanderlust 108, also known as a “mindful triathlon,” still includes a 5K run, but it swaps the cycling and swimming for a mediation session and a 90-minute yoga class. The 5K course winds through Piedmont Park before the mediation and yoga portions take place, led by Sage Rountree, an expert in yoga for athletes, and Atlanta yoga teachers Neda Honarvar and Octavia Raheem. Early bird tickets start at $48.
