The first cidery to call Atlanta home will soon open its doors. Urban Tree Cidery will spread its roots in West Midtown with nearly 5,000 square feet of space, including a manufacturing area and tasting room, appropriately named “The Cidery.” Inspired by their adventures in California wine country, Maria and Tim Resuta decided to bring their affinity for wine and cider to Georgia. Born in the North Georgia Mountains, Urban Cidery now produces three token ciders — a crisp, classic cider; a semi-dry, European-style cider and an oaky-vanilla, barrel-aged cider.
